The Whistle Stop Cafe formerly Edward L. Williams Grocery Store. There were originally
two gas pumps in front of the store. The town became a ghost town after the mill closed
in 1976 but was resurrected as a popular tourist attraction with the filming of the movie
 "Fried Green Tomatoes" in 1991. (Note the painted  tomatoes on the road)
