Registered Letter Sent between 1926 to 1932
From Providence to Washington, D.C.

The registered letter was sent from D. Remington & Son - Providence, RI to H. A. Robinette in Washington D.C. on a 2 cent (Scott #U430) Postal Stationary cover. The 8 cent Grant (Scott #638) and 10 cent Monroe (Scott#640) were added to make up the registered mail rate. U430 was issued from 1915 to 1932 and 638/640 were issued from 1926 to 1933. There is no date stamp on the cover but due to the postage used; the date that the cover was most likely sent was between 1926 and 1932.
