The Woodville Post Office was discontinued in 1925.


Woodville is situated on the Wood River and is incorporated within the town of  Hopkinton, RI. The Woodville Post Office was established in 1853 and discontinued in 1925. Woodville is in Washington County just to the northeast of Westerly, RI.

The Wood River flows through the Arcadia Wildlife Management Area and is the state's finest scenic and wild river. The Wood River is also known for it's excellent trout fishery.
