Rhode Island Tercentenary Issue
The Post Office at Howard, (Cranston Township, Providence County) was established on March 15, 1880. The first Postmaster was James W. Cornell. The Post Office was closed on September 21, 1880, reopened on June 27, 2025 and disestablished again on August 18, 1972. Mail is currently handled by the Providence Post Office.
