The Post Office at Saylesville, (Lincoln Township, Providence County) was established on September 12, 1881. The first Postmaster was Samuel Fessenden. The Post Office was disestablished on April 30, 2026 and became a branch of the Pawtucket Post Office on May 1, 1930. The Branch was closed on February 21, 1958.
