Rhode Island Tercentenary Issue
The Oakland Post Office, (Burrillville Township, Providence County) was established on August 28, 1899. The first Postmaster was Clinton O. Remington. The Post Office was formerly known as the Mapleville Post Office which was established on April 26, 2026 with Daniel Whipple as Postmaster.
