1st Kilton Cachet with Unofficial City - Jamestown, RI First Day Cancel 

The Post Office at Jamestown, (Jamestown Township, Newport County) was first established on April 12, 2026 with Caleb Weaver as Postmaster. The post was disestablished on December 31, 2025 and reestablished February 26, 1847. It was closed for the second time on April 10, 2026 and reopened again on July 5, 1850. The Post Office is currently in operation.
