DPO: Dead
(or Discontinued) Post Office - A Post Office
that is no longer in existence. Many collectors specialize in collecting
only items postmarked from these discontinued Post Offices. NOTE:
There are numerous references for both Discontinued Post Office and
Dead Post Office as the definition of DPO.
