Joseph L. Tillinghast Esq
Dear Sir, |
|
|
Your favor of 22 last with its enclosures came duly to
hand, I have attended to its contents. I have this day
called upon Mr. Currier agent for the Privateer Wasp. I
exhibited Joseph Emerick's power of attorney & upon which,
Mr. Currier produced a similar one that he had given to
his wife, upon the back of which were her three receipts
given in May & July, the last of which was in full --
There remains therefore nothing for me to do but to return
the power with your receipt, which you will find here
enclosed & am respectfully

Your Obedient Servant,
