The note on the Reverse is addressed to Mrs Frank Carpenter in Connecticut from her daughter who has just arrived in Slatersville, RI.

The note reads as follows:

Dear Mom,
Arrived Safely. Having a fine time. Alls well. Please send my dress
pattern like my striped one. I am going to make another one like it. Ellene

Cold Spring Park
Cold Spring Park is located on the Blackstone River. This portion of the river was widened in 1955 as part of a flood control project. There is a canoe launching facility in the park when canoeing this stretch of river one can view the Nyanza Mill, Waterford Mill Village, Alice Mill, Glenark Mill, and the Woonsocket Falls.
