Rhode Island Picture Post Cards
Easton's (or 1st) Beach
Postcard Sent from Newport to France in January 1905
Same person who sent the Cliff Walk card in October 1904.
They must have really enjoyed their Trip, they certainly stayed awhile.
(This card and the Cliff Walk card were purchased from a dealer in Germany)

There was a small amusement park and boardwalk at First Beach when we lived in Newport. There were three main beaches in Newport and we numbered them, 1st Beach, 2nd Beach and 3rd Beach. I'm not sure why they were numbered that way, but 1st Beach was the closest to Newport and 2nd was the next closest; that may be the reason.
