Rhode Island Picture Post Cards
Mouth of the Pawtuxet River Pawtuxet, RI - 1908

Pawtuxet, Pawtucket and Pawcatuck; this can get a little confusing. Pawtucket is in the extreme northeastern section of Rhode Island. Pawcatuck is in Connecticut just across the Pawcatuck River from Westerly, RI. Pawtuxet is a small village at the mouth of the Pawtuxet River in what is now Cranston and Warwick.
(Depending on which side of the river your standing on.)
(Pawtuxet means little falls - Pawtucket means big falls.)
