The Chepachet Post Office (Gloucester Township, Providence County) was established on September 6, 1806 under Postmaster Amherst Kimball. The Post Office is currently in operation under Postmaster Hugh W. Tiner Jr. appointed on April 16, 2005.

The Chepachet Farms and Carriage Works located on Tourtellot Hill Road in Chepachet is a fun stop if your in the area. They provide old fashioned hayrides and also have a great petting zoo for the children.
