The Albion Post Office (Lincoln Township, Providence County) was established on December 23, 1847 under Postmaster Phillip Mathewson. The post office is currently in operation under Postmaster Joseph G. Forchione appointed on October 27, 2007.

Albion is located on the banks of the Blackstone River northeast of Providence in Lincoln Township. The town of Lincoln contains seven villages: Manville, Lonsdale, Saylesville, Limerock, Albion, Fairlwn and Quinnville.
