The West Barrington Post Office, (Barrington Township, Bristol County) was established on June 6, 1906 under Postmaster Reuben H. Gibbs. The Post Office was formerly known as Drownville (February 19, 1878 - June 6, 1906). The Post Office was disestablished on September 15, 1972.
