The Wyoming Post Office, (Richmond Township, Washington County) was established on December 11, 1855 under Postmaster Luther A. Palmer. The Post Office was formerly known as Brand's Iron Works established on August 27, 1828 under Postmaster Mathew G. Wilbur. The Post Office is currently in operation under Postmaster Sandra J. Roche appointed on August 21, 2004.

Wyoming is located just to the west of Highway 95 and south of the Arcadia. The Post Office is located on Main Street which connects to Route 138. The nearest villages are Hope Valley and Richmond.
