The West Warwick Post Office (West Warwick Township, Kent County) was originally established as the Artic Post Office on October 29,1889 under Postmaster Joseph Bouchard. The name was officially changed to the West Warwick Post Office on August 15, 1925 under the operation of Postmaster Albert J. Rene. This Post Office is currently in operation under Postmaster Gary J. Laprocina appointed on December 10, 2005.
