July 26, 1898 Corner Card - Station B of the Providence Post Office |
|
Station B of the
Providence Post Office was established
on September 1, 1897. The name was changed to
North Station on
April 1, 1900.
There is what appears to be an Received eyeglass cancellation
covering the Binghamton, NY address, which was mostly applied by
the Binghamton Post Office as well as the purple August 4, 1898
date stamp.
