Pilgrim Station, (Warwick) Rhode Island 02888

The Pilgrim Station Post Office, (Warwick Township - Kent County) was established in 1962. The station is currently in operation and is located on 850 Post Road in Warwick. The station is located near the Pawtuxet area of Warwick and just to the west of Posneganset Pond.

Pawtuxet is located at the mouth of the Pawtuxet River and was originally a part of Providence. The River established the line between Providence and Warwick and the southern part of the village became part of Warwick while the northern section remained part of Providence. In 1754 the northern section of Pawtuxet became part of Cranston.
